We will gather all this information from meeting with you. After completing our FREE ESTIMATE stage, we will provide you with a clearer idea of what would be involved to create your dream kitchen, you may decide to have Kuhn Construction create a quote for your project.
At this point you will be signing our Design Retainer Agreement, with 2 design revisions included if needed, and a design fee will be due at this time.

Next – Concept & Measure:

A Measure Meeting with our Design Professionals. Including:

A review of the Project Planning Guide, answering any queries.
Take measurements, photographs and make rough drawings for the areas that fall into the scope of work.
Talk about product and material options, and any selection preferences you might have.
Schedule for a design meeting with you to come to Kuhn Construction offices, for a review of the design we will have created based on our observations and your wants.

The Design Meeting

Time to review the design we have created specifically for your Kitchen Remodel project in detail, tweaking the plans if/as needed.
We will also explain how changes to the plan might affect your budget.
Depending on any revisions requested, another meeting may be required.
Ready to move forward with the project? Now you will sign the Final Design Development Agreement, and provide a deposit.

Time to Fine-tune your selections

With the help of our personalized “Customer Selection Sheet” we will explain the choices you need to make.
Our design team takes the stress out of this stage, helping you with the aid of our Selection Room, photos, product samples, and material references. Taking the worry out of making ‘just the right choice’ by helping you put together a consistent, complimentary blend of styles, finishes and colors.

Plan Finalization

The Kuhn Production Department will now:

Then we schedule our final meeting:

Kuhn Construction will up-date you on plans & specifications plus review the Final Contract and Payment Schedule.
Once everything is approved, it is time to sign the Construction Agreement.

Post Design/Pre-Construction

permits and/or any variances needed as applied for by Kuhn Construction.
All product and materials are ordered.
As we get closer to a start date, it’s time for another meeting.

Pre-Construction Team Meeting

We will introduce your Project Manager who will also conduct an on-site walk-through with you.

At Kuhn Kitchen Remodels it is very important to us that your home security and personal safety is uppermost at all times, so we will review general project and site access guidelines.
Our next step will be to create a construction schedule.

Construction

During the construction process, we will:

Keep you informed of schedule changes, using our Project Management app. and our team will reply quickly to any questions or concerns you may have along the way.
Notify you right away if any changes arise due to change orders/extras in scope of work, or unforeseen issues, they it may affect the budget.
Be focused on quality of workmanship, product and results throughout your remodel. Rest assured, the skilled professionals working on your home will treat it as if it was their own.

Post Construction

You will receive the Kuhn lifetime warranty and information packet for your Kitchen Remodel.
Plus, six months after completion, we will be checking to make sure everything is to your satisfaction! You can count on the team from Kuhn Construction!

Do you provide financing?
Yes, Kuhn Construction is pleased to offer financing options for homeowners in New York.

Do you charge to quote?
Our estimates are free.
If you wish a quote, after receiving the free estimate, you sign the Design Retainer Agreement, and provide a deposit of 2% of the low end of the estimated budget, or a minimum of $5000.

After receiving & reviewing the quote, if you wish to proceed with the remodel, and have signed the Final Design Development Agreement, a fee of 6% of the low end of the estimated budget will be due.
